I also want to go to manual accts.
Those plugs are a bear to remove unless you know a trick or two.
I called the Kaw dealer and they said they had to remove the carbs to get the plugs out(4 to 5 hours labor) I took it to a private shop and he got them out with a drill and he synched my carbs for 30 bucks and let me use his shop and tools to readjust my windshield.

    How do you do.
I have a 2003 VN750 and I wanted to know what is the easiest way to unplug the pilot air screw ports? the Honda shop said they would have to remove my carbs to do the job but I was leery. I have already removed smog hoses and plugged the ports with silicone. I am still having that annoying cam chain racket even though I replaced the springs. maybe I was supposed to rotated them before hand. I may go to manual cct's.

No worries I was more curious about the plate and if it needed a gasket but I got some high temp gasket stuff Im going to try.

Honestly, I cannot remember exactly what I did, but I know I removed the hose assembly from both sides where the new coaster plate attaches.
