I work right across from Embassy suites in Homewood. I don't know of any Motorcycle Insuror that offers health coverage. They might have some sort of Accidental Death but call me if you would like

I would hit all the web based carriers, GEICO, Allstate, Progressive, etc.
    Who is your current carrier.

Hey there - thanks for the offer to let me know about insurance. I only have liability and it was $181 last year and $169 this year. I don't see a reason to buy all the rest because they wouldn't pay anyway. They might for the health part of it so I guess i am somewhat interested in how much that goes for. What part of Birmingham are you in?

Hey man, your right, loosing Ron is a crying shame. I think the best way to remember him is to keep riding. Good luck on your trip. Are the others going on the trip also riding? strength in numbers. As for tips, ride your own pace and at your own comfort level regardless of what others are doing. Rest often. Be sure someone knows where you are going, if not your whole rout. BE AWARE!!! Have fun, take some pics and post a ride report on the site.

It a Protec backrest. Easy to put on. To remove you just pull it straight up. $160 shipped. Made from stainless steal. Pad is made of weak thick foam but it fills great. Can ride all day and my back doesn't hurt. I will have to get back with you on the name of the site.
