FYI did a quick reply to my post. Progressive states That if you increase the lenght of the spacer The ride height is higher and they will be stiffer. They reccommend fine tuning Buy 1/4" cuts. too mush oil will also make it stiffer.
Thanks for all your great posts!!!!

    Hey Knifemaker,
I found your progressive spring install to be the best information on here concerning how to do it. It also has the information on the fork oil change I was looking for.
Could you direct me to the photographs you mention?

Hey Knifemaker, I'm very interested in making or possibly buying the turn signal re-locator that you make, it's getting annoying having those lights on top of my saddlebags. Any tips?

    Hey, greetings and apology(s)
I posted a followup today in re: the GB, and for whatever reason the forum/blog software placed a response I was trying to make towards Denny6006 under your last post instead. Makes it seem as if I'm coming back on you, and I'm not at all.

I'd also like to make sure you read me public apology to you in that thread. And now in private (I hope this is a private thread). I could make excuses for some of my prior behavior, like I was going through a rough patch (I was, cancer and treatment) but the truth is I let a situation control me and was abusing alcohol and then going online with an attitude that deserved nothing less than an ass kicking.

Anyway, sorry man, I got out of line.

    Thanks KM.
I will check them out. When I looked before it didn't look like it was that easy since the rider pegs go up on an angle. Maybe I just didn't look at them right. Thanks for getting back to me.

    Greetings Knifemaker.
I was looking at your photos, you are a very talented man! I copied your plan for boards and they work great. I plan on tackling passenger boards in the near future, my 10 year old daughter just has to have them now that I do. I have your drawing and plan on cutting them out in the next couple days but I have a question: How did you mount the passenger boards? I appreciate any guidance you can give.

Hey Knifemaker, i was told to come to u for some mod diagrams for my vn750. I have browsed thru ur pics, i like ur highway pegs, and ur floorboards. Im also looking for some saddlebag clamps or holders or mounts or something to rig up some bags on my bike.
I like ur diagrams you have, but on your diagram for your highway pegs, there are no dimensions for the strap steel and the tube and stuff, so i dont know how long to make them or where to put the holes, etc..

Also, u did a good job with the diagrams for the floorboards, but where/how do they mount using the 1/4 flatheads? Are u mounting them to the current pegs or what?

    I appreciate any help, thanks.
