    Older the better I say, I'd love to buy a classic bike in the future. No thought about it, I'm really enjoying this Vulcan, the parts are so easy to find.

    It's actually easy, 900 custom seat, a few screws, a couple of pieces of angle iron and some spacers to make room for the back of the 900 seat. Matchup the holes in the angle iron with the existing holes that support the backrest. With the spacers in it will give you room to attach the new seat. My bikes an 89 also and it took 20 years off the look of the bike.
