That's good to know denny. I haven't ridden in while. It has gotten cold and my ride to work will be in the dark. There are more deer and hogs on the road then before. Thanx for the info.

Hey nite, working on a 96 1100 shadow for a friend ,cleaning carbs, flushing fluids and replacing the battery. I just wanted to let you know if you decide or need to change the thermostat in yours they are about 30 bucks from Honda or any of the bike parts places. After doing some digging found a 84 Honda Prelude t-Stat is a direct fit and same temperature for 6.99 plus tax at Autozone.

The center stand is gone, so that was not a problem. But you would need to get the rear wheel on a 2x4 and then raise it up on the stand. And the side stand was worn enough that it did not need modifing.

Thanks for the reply. May take you up on that but I'm also thinking of going with slightly shorter shocks as I don't think I need to lower a lot. Although as I said I really like the look of the fender low clarance. How was it getting it on the center stand?

I am not a big guy so I had the shocks on the list setting and never had a problem. I sold it to a big guy and as far as I know he never had any problem bottoming out.

I could probably get a paper copy and send to you if you want.

Thanx for the complements on the mods.

Hey how are ya. I love the look of your bike lowered and I'm thinking of doing that to mine. Do you have any probs with bottoming out with two up? With the stock shocks should I crank the tension up a bit? Thanks and great job on the mods you did.
    Dave

Just noticed that you made those lowering brackets. So you sell them? I don't have the means to fab something like those. Thanks again.
