    When you ccompression checked it did you have the throttle wide open for best compression reading?

    Hi Geezy, I put that VN 750 engine showing tragic compression figures back in it's frame and started it. The engine runs fine, no smoke and reliably starts. No air filters at the moment, but I'm sure once there fitted,the idle and mixtures will be good, must have just been flooded after all. Things are looking up. Cheers. Big Nick.
