follow what the can says on it.but yes it needs to be baked(no don't do bong hits with your motor ). running it will work .also thoroughly clean, degrease and remove any loose, flaking paint

hi, engine paints these days are brilliant if done properly like anything else prep work is the key so clean clean clean then paint lol. as previously stated the more you can run the bike the harder the paint will cure. as for pipe wrap i love it.
quick tips place wrap in bucket of water to soak. i use a vice to hold pipes and wrap from the bucket ensure wrap is tight as you can get it,i overlap at least 3qtrs inch to an inch, when it dries it will shrink slightly causing a tighter fit.
dont know what fixings you guys get but here they are crap and will eventually snap. i always use jubilee clips and paint them same as wrap.

good luck

my straight pipes are wrapped and ive enjoyed it, looks nice if you take the time to wrap them well. the only caveat is working around them, the fiberglass can irritate if you're rubbing up against them a lot. but some high temp clear coat may help that.

Hey guys

Has any one tried rapping the stock exhaust system on the VN750. I am trying to wrap my head around how you can get around the whole muffler that is before the front wheel. Any pics may help.
