Got the carbs put on and started her up Probly the first time it's ran in 3 years sounds ok think my float level might be off as I had to shut the gas off to keep from overflowing "tw200 petcock" also my ignition switch has a short or bad connection has anyone ever takin one apart any suggestions would be appreciated

Try Wolfie's backblow method on the carbs.might have stirred up some gunk and got some dirt in the float needles

Tried it with no luck. Took carbs off found the spring loaded end of my front needle was stuck closed replaced with one from my spare carb and no more leaks.

However if I ease into the throttle she runs great but if I dump the throttle it's like she is struggling and wants to die is this a mixture issue

I did the ear shave and coaster because it was cheaper than buying all the molded hoses and vacuum lines that were either missing or damaged. Didn't think it was a jet issue because as long as I don't throttle fast everything sounds great
