highway pegs extended.

just showing a cheap easy way to extend the highway pegs. im sure someone else has done this. but for new people thought it would be good. got some flat steel at lowes, pack of bolts and washers. cut the steel with a dremel. grinded the ends and polished with the wire wheel on my grinder. may try chrome spray paint but not sure yet. they are 6.5" long but can be cut to what ever length is comfortable to you. im 6'1 so 6.5" worked for me.

it works pretty well. i had to put the extension on the inside of the clamp instead of in the clamp because it wouldn't tighten enough to keep it from twisting but it works lol. i may not paint it may do clear coat to keep from rusting though. or paint them red like the color of the bike.
