meanie seat on the vulcan 750

just wanted to post up pics of my new 1600 meanstreak seat on betty

only mods needed to make it fit was jimmy rigging the front tab to be wider so it sat snug it the receiving slot i accomplished this by cutting a ball point pen in half and taping a section on either side if the tab

for the back i just drilled a hole in the fender and put a bolt thru with a purdy acorn nut

here are the pics enjoy

I did it when I put my bigazz solo on...I took a 8" piece of 2x4 and slipped it in between the fender and tire in case....
Its not a big deal....if ya ever wanna go back, hardware stores sell plastic and chrome furniture plugs that pop right back in to hide the hole.

Main thing I did, was I made the bolt and fender "one" by adding a nut on top with star washers...that way you can remove the seat with one wrench. I placed a rubber grommet around the top nut, and made the hole in the seat bracket a lil bigger, so it goes over the nut. On top, a nice chrome washer and accorn nut....

Looks good brother....like it was made fer it....
