Nah that pipe is fine where it is. I don't see a lot of movement taking place where its going to get hit.

Jack up the bike and see if the tire comes closer as it sags under the weight of the bike should be fine though

Sits about the same place my crossover does without issue. One thing I will reccomend, set it on the center stand and make a guard where the side stand comes close. It will save you boots and if you wrap them like I did, the wrapping. Found out the hard way.

87 vn750at least that is what the frame #'s say

If you paint them instead of wrapping them make sure you get header paint and not engine paint. My apologies if you already know that.
