UK hardtail project.

first pics are of what i have at the moment.
got the bike in bits, so havetn really had t odo much to strip it down.
good points are:
the wiring loom is intact
i have a haynes manual so it makes putting it back together a little easier
i have 2 experts that have built bikes before to aid and abet me.

how it was when i collected it

and as its sits after stripping it this morning

http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h104/adespics/007.jpg

and how my front room looks (thank god im divorced and my new missus loves bikes lol)

plans so far are to:
mock up the hardtail rear, using 22mm plastic piping to ensure perfect fabrication first time
remove stand from where it is, for relocation at a later date
weld original footpeg brackets to the frint of the frame to move them forward and remove original mount lugs.
further pics after that has been done.

thought i would update this thread with the so far so crazily annoying photo lol

decided all the bikes that have kept the swingarm were a little 'busy' fr me, so have decided to go a little too ar and cut it. thankfully i hm going for a slightly industrial look too it, so the plates and so on wont look out of place.
have to fit the engine to line up the mounts and then we are away.

Rubber boots on the fork uppers would look good on this IMO...makes it look more retro. Triumph and BSA ones fit I believe.
