New to the forum

Hello whoever decided to look at this.
I have a 1986 Vulcan that I got for $150.
So that being said, I wanna modify it.

1. Is there anyone one on here who has done a fork swap or know of a company that makes aftermarket top brackets for the front forks?

2. Anyone put "uni" pods on? And if so what was your experience?

3. What's the best looking exhaust youve seen on a vulcan?

I definitely have more questions but that's a start. Thanks for any insight you can shed.

Welcome to the machine!

#2 Yes and I'd do it again. Reduces clutter, looks cleaner, makes carb work easier, and makes some good noises. Didn't need to re-jet for the UNI PK92 foam filters. Easy and quick to pop filters off for cleaning.

#3 Probably the Mac or V&H pipes. Been a while since I've looked though.

Garage
You can get custom length forks from Frank:

Kawasaki Fork Tubes ? Franks Forks

I plan at some point to get slightly longer fork tubes for my project bike from
them, retaining the stick triple tree.
