How my project is coming along

Just wanted to post how my Vulcan is coming along and show some pics from when I got it a month ago and how it looks now. So far I've built some exhaust for it, painted them up and wrapped them with titanium wrap. Painted the wheels. Changed the seat out, rebuilt and rejetted carbs. Things I'm hoping to do soon are lower it a couple inches, possibly change the bars, and change some little odds and ends like the pegs and lights. I thought about ear shave but I kinda like the look of the factory air cleaners. Also like to hear some suggestions from others about other things I may not have thought of.

That's the best color scheme I think. These bikes are incredibly photogenic.

Thanks! I keep it inside sometimes when it's not at my shop lol, my six year old enjoys it in the house more than my wife. It's off a 900 Vulcan and I like it alot, I looked at a thread on hear from another guy who showed how he made it mount up and fit right. It's low and wide but I'm 6 foot, 260 lbs so I feel pretty comfortable on it.

They look awesome after a good waxing out in the sunlight.

Looks good. How loud are those straight pipes? Considered those on my 85 when I finished it but after riding my 99 with stock exhaust it seems the straight pipes would be too loud and obnoxious. My parts bike has the same color scheme except instead of the vulcan symbol on the tank it just says "Kawasaki"

They don't sound much different than it did with just the goat, they make 1.75 inch diameter baffles you can put in straight pipes. It's still quieter than alot of the big twins I hear with straight pipes.
