Thumbs up Local Motorcycle Forum in Lethbridge, Alberta

The VN750.com forum has been a god-sent to me this past year that I have been unable to ride. I have made friends of many folks I will never meet. I have learned almost everything I know about motorcycle service, maintenance and repair. My only regret is that I live so far from all of you, that it is unlikely that I will ever get to ride with any members of the group, with the possible exception of haitabu, who is only about 3 hours away, on the other side of Calgary.

I was quite pleased about a month ago to get an email invitation to join a local motorcycle forum from the administrator. He spotted my name and location on the Kawi Vulcan forum one night when things were pretty quiet here.

So for the benefit of any riders in Southern Alberta, from Medicine Hat to Pincher Creek and the Crowsnest Pass, and especially those close to Lethbridge, come on over to http://lethbridgeroadcrew.com/ and take a look around. It is for anyone who loves motorcycles, any make, model, or style.

During good weather they have group rides on Friday nights. For the next few months of cold and snow it will be "truck night", and we will gather at a local restaurant and tell bike lies for an hour or two on Fridays. lol

One of the members, TOMMYV8, runs an independent garage and does a lot of work on bikes. So now I have an alternative to the stealership, it seems. Tommy has 4 Harleys and a Kannon V8. He also has a good supply of slip on mufflers that were exchanged for aftermarket pipes. Who knows what little gems I might find there?

Wow, that's fantastic Hoss. I can't tell you how bad I wish I had something like that here in Philly. I'm still trying the several motorcycle shops around me looking for someone who's not going to rip me off but try to work with me cause he's they're bikers too. I haven't been so lucky. That is a GREAT find Hoss! You get that leg healed up and you'll be SET!!!! How's the leg doing these days anyway?
Edit: Hey Hoss, I saw the update on you leg back in the other thread, no need to report here too. Glad things are getting better!

Glad you've found a group to ride with and share your love of riding. Seems like a plan is coming together; the leg is healing and you've found local riders. Think someone is looking out for you!

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!
