Craigslist Fairing

Well, I stumbled across a fairing on a VN750. Unfortunately, it is from a Harley Davidson. The owner is asking $110.

Looks good to me.

IIRC, the fairing came with its own headlight as it won't accomodate the standard VN750 light. Try to get both.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

The description on CL states that it comes with its own headlight but the present owner is keeping the turn signals. It seems the headlight is included in the asking price. If it is worth up to 400 as mentioned in another post that seems a pretty good deal even if just to resell it at a reasonable profit. Removing the HD sticker should not be too difficult depending on if it is just pressure sensitive adhesive. If so a little heat and careful peeling followed by some "Goo Gone" on a soft rag will remove all traces. Go for it.

brand new it was worth $940.00 and the lowers were another $240.00 then the shield was another $100. Now since the fairings are so rare, it would be worth 2 times that amount. Unfortunately no one will pay 1800 for a brand new fairing still in the box, and used with out the signals.. knocks the value down to about 400.

That sounds logical. I think Deuce should grab it for the $110 and resell for a nice profit if he is not interested in using it on his bike. You don't get a chance to make extra money like this very often. He could also use it to make a nice trade for some needed parts also and save some cash.

If Deuce doesn't want it you should go for it. Just get the shipping insured.
