Ridin with Elvis to north Georgia.

Just seeing if any of the north Georgia riders may want to act as a tour guide? Me and Elvis and a few others will be heading out on Oct 8, no real destination in mind yet, just going to ride to the mountains near Helen and when we get tired we are going to find a hotel. wanting to do a lot of riding on Sat the 9th. Having someone who knows the cool places to ride would be helpfull. I'm betting that Octoberfest in Helen would be a blast, and we want to see some of that, but riding is the priority on this trip. So, if anyone is wanting to meet up , just im me and we will see if we can get together. Thanks.

Be sure to stop at "Two Wheels Only" motorcycle campground and restaurant--you'll be glad you did (when you're there, ask about the "BigAss Sirloin Burger").

For business hours and other info, go to:

http://www.twowheelsonly.com/

Helen may (or may not) be a neat place to visit, depending on your personal tastes. In any case, it's a pricey town to visit, so go prepared if you do visit that town.

For some of the better roads to ride up there, go to:

http://www.motorcycleroads.us/

and select the north Georgia region.

Post back here later with your take on the trip (with pix, of course.......)

Thanks for the info Hawk. I have allready checked out that site and it mentioned the place you are talking about. we were going to check out that loop suggested on the motorcycle roads site, the one that starts and ends in Dahlonega(sp?). just seeing if a l little local knowledge would find a few nice roads.
