Escort A Wounded Florida Hero Home

Romulo Camargo is a Special Forces Warrant Officer wounded in Afghanistan and is currently paralyzed from the neck down and receiving treatment at James A. Haley VA Hospital, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) unit (Tampa Florida). His prognosis is unknown at his time. Members of my organization have talked with him several times and this soldier is anxious to get back to the fight. He has a beautiful supportive family with him round the clock. He is an avid motorcyclist and has requested a motorcycle escort to his hometown in Crystal River FL.

This soldier was Captain of the Lecanto High School wrestling and swim teams before joining the Army. His hometown wants a hero's welcome for this soldier.

There is supposed to be a police escort all the way, but a A local Rolling Thunder Chapter will escort him to a luncheon where the Mayor will present him a key to the city and Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Wait will have some presentations to make as well.

This escort is open to anyone that wants to show there support so the information is below.

In Tampa Florida on Saturday, 12 Sep 2009, 0900 at building 38, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) unit , Emerald Parking Area. Be there. Kickstands up is at 10-10:30. If you have ever visited Haley you know how tough parking can be. 0900 is a good plan. Go in the "Staff Parking" lot entrance off Bruce B
Downs. The SCI unit is in the back of the compound on the right. You will see a circular drive covered with a canopy.

There is a flier but I cant post the url because I haven't posted 5 times yet. So if you would like to see it message me and I will get you a copy.

Sorry it took so long to get back on here....

Yes the plan is to escort from Tampa to Crystal River (about and hour anda half ride)

Here is the flier.. its a little hard to find where to download it, but look at the bottom right for "Save file to your PC: click here"

http://www.2shared.com/file/7042924/...f6/Escort.html

Also it looks like we are up to around 100 bikes so far so it looks like there will be a pretty good turn out.
