Columbus Ohio Anyone?

It looks like I'll be headed to Columbus in October this year. Is there anything in that city I shouldn't leave with out doing? I know Chicago has deep dish pizza and Philly has cheese steaks. Is there any particular food I should chase down while I'm there? Thanks for any advice!

2x on Iron Pony. It's in the north east corner of the city but it's only minutes of the outer belt. Easy to get to. Huge Store!

What kind of food do you like? I could suggest some places.
If you like chicken wings, Roosters is great! Ask for them to be sloppy!
If you like mexican, Mi Mexico on E. Main is excellent. I've never made it past their fajitas!
The Ohio Deli has the "Dagwood". You get a t-shirt if you finnish it! lol
Sorry, no web site on this one but a link to the "Man vs. Food" episode of their visit.

did someone say "wings"? well, you could go up the road to Quaker Streak & Lube.

as for a "cool" place to check out and get a beer try Roadhouse 66 Bar & Grille. the wife and I stopped in there last summer. www.roadhouse66.com

I tell ya, some of the best food I had in Columbus came right out of the Swift Terminal. Some Jamaican dude had a stand setup there. He would cook up burgers, dogs and sausages either stuffing them or covering them in his special chili. Now, I am not a fan of chili. I almost hate it. But his was sweet and not spicy at all. Damn, I miss that terminal.

I only understand what I don't understand.

Not to diss the quake but I was thinking of places that weren't every where else.

But they have good wings & a super tall ass BEER!

Edit: just asked my wife about some places & she suggests
For Italian, TAT & for BBQ, City BBQ.

come on kanuck69, why you got to be diss-in'?! lol

I understand what you're saying. that's cool. I was thinking more of on the lines not so much the food, but just a cool place to see/eat at. and since he's from out of town (and NJ only has 1 Q.S.&L) and if he has never been to one, I thought he might want to check it out.
as for their wings? I'm not big on wings myself, but they have won all kinds of awards for their wings, including the "best in America"!.... just saying
