Anyone hail from NYC or its suburbs?

Hey, guys and gals. Just wondering if anyone here is from any of NYC's lovely 5 boroughs or somewhere around it.

I'm in Queens, myself.

If you're in the area, then SPEAK UP!!

Went to 5 - 9th grades in Forest Hills, but that was a very, very, very long time ago.

But I did frequent the area for many years.

Best pizza in the world is on Austin Street, at least it was.

No longer. Grew up in Brooklyn/Staten Island, left the Island in 1972 for the wilds of NJ

There's a pizza place right off Austin, on Ascan Ave, called "Nick's". If you're talking about that pizzeria, than you sir are RIGHT!! They have the best freakin' pizza there.

Lived in the Bronx for 8 years (four in college at Fordham, four out of college).

And I'll third or fourth the cry for an NY pizzeria. Pizza down here (Virginia) is more cardboard than anything.

Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil, that true love never dies. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in.
