Group Ride in PA

Wouldn't it be nice to have a gathering or group ride in PA.... Maybe all folks meet somewhere near I80 so that Vulcaneers from both Northern as well as Southern part of the state can come over for a quick meet. We have brunch and then go over for a ride .... followed by dinner and then we head back home

I know we have a bunch of folks from PA who participate actively on this forum.. so lets hear what you guys say!!! Can we make this happen!!!

Ya just missed one we had at the end of July, in Erie. But I'm guessing you're thinking more over your way, on the Eastern side of the state?

I'd be up for another.
But I'd probably stay the night so I could take a nice backroad ride home afterwards.

For some reason, the Erie trip fell of my radar.... and I have been kicking myself for that.... Anyway I was thinking some where central so no one has to drive more than 2-3 hrs to get to the meet and then we can spend more time riding together.. Anyone knowing the central PA area well enough should be able suggest a good meeting point and some nice routes for the ride.

My mom used to live over by E-town (Elizabethtown). I used to love riding through the countryside there. Well, except when they had just sprayed the fields with liquified chicken sh!t. Amazing how thick the juice on the visor gets - I mean they're just little tiny bugs...but a LOT of 'em... You know your in the country, not the city, the clue is in the smell...
