Western New York (Love the 716!)

Hey, so who do we have around Buffalo? I know I saw a nice blue & white VN750 at Tops Market in Amherst this weekend, but didn't get a chance to catch up to the rider as he went inside, and was gone before we got our shopping done

you fail the 750 stalker test!... a vulcaneer must always have pen and paper to write a note to fellow 750ers about this site.

Hummm, well, I guess I'll have to add that to my list of things I still need to get... Let's see:

- Actual Motorcycle License (I've got the permit now, I take the MSF course in mid-October)
- Helmet
- VN750
- Pen
- Post-its

..There!

Hey Jinkeez, forget the pen and post-it. Get a whiteboard marker and just write it on the tank. Then you don't have to worry about the note not getting seen or blowing away (as long as it's not raining). Just don't get caught. It may take longer to explain what you're doing that it takes to get your lights punched out.

I dunno, I know it's a non-permanent whiteboard marker, but I think I'd still have a hang-up about writing on someone else's stuff

You know what would be really cool, though? Magnets! You can get a rack of them from Vistaprint.com for pretty cheap, and then all you need to do is slap one on the tank, and there it will stay in a very noticable and non-permanent but wind/water/rideproof way, until they get home to visit the site.

Check this out --
http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/spla...x?xnav=TsrItem

Maybe someone could convince the site admin to order a bunch and then hand out a few when someone becomes a site supporter, or an organized/ambitious member could put together a group order or something.

That's a good idea. Ya know, you can get the same magnetic material at office depot to run through your own printer. That's how I get past security, print a couple of signs for the doors of my vehicle and I instantly work for the phone company.

Sayyyy, the last time someone worked on my phone line, it stopped working completely and I later found bent paper clips, duct tape, and some M&M's in the wall behind the jack. That was you, wasn't it??

That explains where the M&M's went. I guess the paper clips didn't work.
