newbie checkin in

Greetings and salutations to all,
Just wanted to say hello, I just recently traded my boat for a 89 vn750 from
my son in law it has only 8,500 miles on it and yes thats the real milage
so far I have installed a toggle switch to my fan so i can operate it when needed I need to run some sea foam thru it a couple times i believe
the carbs are a little crudy i have pulled the tank and cleaned it out real well and the pet cock as well my new project will be to fix the throttle cables they do not snap back also i am gonna need to replace the back tire it has a plug in it and i am nervous because this is my first shaft drive and dont know how hard it will be to do on my own? also just to let everyone know I am from texas have a good day and ride safe.. by the way does this site have any (colors) or patches to put on our jackets.

Welcome, Yes the tire is easy just need to get the bike up a little higher.
I put the center stand on a 2X6 and that did the trick.
As well as great shirts here you can get patches from Pipper.

That will work. You can take a Texan out of Texas (if he wants to go), but you can't take the Texan out of a Texan. YeeeHaaa!!!
