Hello From Arkansas

Hello to all! I've been trolling around here for about a month and a half. I did a little quick research before I finally bought my VN750 in July. I have to say this is one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable message boards I've ever come accross.

It is my first bike, though I have been riding off and on for about 18 years. Admittedly, my riding has always been sporadic at best, and on borrowed scoots to boot. I have taken the MSF's BRC and last Friday I took the Experienced Rider Course on my Vulcan. Being military, I can take the MSF courses for free. I'm signing up for the Advanced Rider Course as well as the Kevin Schwantz course that will be here in October. My neighbor is one of the sportbike coaches for the base and has been having a good number of cruiser riders taking the Schwantz course. He highly recommended it.

Pics soon... But here goes, she's a 2004 had 2800 miles when I got her. Already got 4600. All fresh fluids, new battery, new tires, splines lubed. I'm getting ready to relocate the R/R. Based on recommendations, I'm also communicating with Mr. Potter on a backrest purchase. I have made the Vulcan Verses my beginner's bible as far as maintenance goes, as well as downloading the manual I found the link to in another thread (thanks thtanner!)
