Newbie from Texas

Hi! I just got my first bike a couple of months ago. A 2005 VN750, with 22k miles on it. Gotta love my hubby, cause he picked it up for $750 because it had a blown base gasket. "No problemo," says he, at which point he fixes it all up and two weeks later she's running like the pretty thing that she is.

Would love some advice, though. After reading through this forum I see that I'm not the only one that has a behind not suited to the stock seat. I've seen it recommended to swap with a 900 seat, but I'm having a hard time finding one in the area. However, there seem to be many Harley Sporster or other HD seats available. Would you guys happen to know if one of those other models would fit? We're not afraid of making minor mods.

Any input would be awesome! Thanks.

Any seat that looks similar to the VN900 seat will work... you have to fabricate mounting brackets, but you can use the same fabrication methods used for the 900 seat to any other solo type seat.
