It is a great bike, as with most bike models, each has it's issues/concerns one must be aware of. Preventive maintenance goes a long ways.

33k...that is true. Be-aware of VN750 issues, Perform R/R mod, Spline lube check every 10K or so, change the oil regularly, utilize Sea-foam occasionally, suggest a Voltmeter to keep an eye on things....and stay active on this site occasionally.

hope this helps

sounds to me like you are on the right track with maintenance....

Just enjoy the bike and don't worry about any of the major stuff discussed on this site unless you are having that issue. If you do have problems, just know that this site is here to help you get back on the road quickly.

reading all the posts about stator,R/R, balance damper, cam chains, and so on....that will just make you nuts thinking about stuff and waiting for it to happen to you.......just make a mental note of them and ride the damn thing....lol

If you dwell on the what might go wrong, you will never enjoy the bike the whole time nothing was wrong.

I'm not sure what you're talking about.

You fix the minor "gotchas" and it's great for a long-long time.
