Im new to the site. Im also a new rider. i just bought my first bike the other day which is a 1992 VN750. I was lucky enough to pick it up from a guy who bought it without asking his wife first so it sat in his garage for a few years. he said he put about 800 miles on it in the 6 years he owned it. So far I've got it running pretty decent. Still has some backfire when riding but I should have it fixed in the next few days. I only have two issues with it. One the pipes on that badboy are obnoxiously loud and the seat kills me. Anyone have a suggestion for a quieter set of pipes and is there a solo seat I could find somewhere too?

Welcome to the forums.. The 92 is the best year of the Vulcan IMHO.

Check out the Vulcan Verses, make sure to do a spline lube, and check out the charging system... a lot of members have been replacing stators the past month or so.

stock pipes are relatively quiet. you can modify a vn800/900 seat to work. I just posted this information earlier yesterday. I will look it up again and get back to you.

You may be able to trade your exhaust with some one here for the stock system. Post one sell and trade.
