Noob From Idaho

Howdy all, I'm Tee from Idaho, and a Noob to the forums.
I just purchased an 85 VN700 and am in the process of fixing it up.
I will be looking for some parts down the road, and I hope I can be of some service to other riders on this forum.
I am a mechanic by trade, I started out working on cars, then progressed to small engines, then to bikes.
This is my 4th Vulcan, and I hope to have this one for a while.
Thanks for reading my post.

I live east of Boise north of Twin Falls. I have owned some 700 and 750 Vulcans from 85 to 90.
The most recent is an 85 VN700 that was a basket case, and the PO put it back together, and now it's not running right.
The rear cylinder isn't firing. Not sure if it's the coil or carb. It will start, but it's definitely not hitting on the rear one.
I need a few parts for it. I will post in the appropriate part of the forum for the parts.
