Welcome to the Vulcan madness!!
If the only problem with the junction box (JB) is the fan relay, and money is tight, you can bypass the JB and hook up a manual switch to turn it on.
Just have to remember to turn it off when you park.

I haven`t had to do this mod yet, but others here have.

My electronic connection tab broke off the switch (located on bottom left radiator corner), so I re-routed existing wire (which is hot) to left engine/fork cover where I mounted a switch. A new radiator switch is $86-$88.00 ! The radiator switch, when closed, grounds the fan circuit to ground. Wire up your new /added switch for a ground connection.
Hope this helps
