Hi from Yorkshire, UK

Hi guys

Been lurking around in the background for a few days and decided its time I said hello! I'm Wolf, from West Yorkshire in the UK. Just bought my first VN750 after years on sports bikes (most recently an FZR1000R). Ive finally given in and admitted that I'm getting too old and creaky for the "ass in the air, hands round the front wheel spindle" riding position and moved onto something a little more laid back and comfortable! The new ride is a 1991 US model which was imported into the UK in 1996 and last turned a wheel in anger in 2005. First task is going to be cleaning off 7 years worth of dust! Surprisingly after all that time standing, she fired up straight away and the engine sounds sweet as a nut. Hopefully a lot of cleaning and a full service will see her back on the road in no time.
Been spending a bit of time reading through the forum now and I am really glad I found this place.... a proper little goldmine of info for a new owner

Welcome aboard! You're right about the goldmine of info on here. Anything you need, chances are someone here can help.

I'm just not sure we can handle a Wolf and a Wolfie on the same board. You don't have a long beard that flaps in the wind when you ride too do you?

Welcome to the Vulcan madness Gypsy Wolf. (I was going to abbreviate your nickname to GW, but it just doesn`t seem right to confuse you with a Honda touring motorcycle!)
