Cool I feel like I need to reintroduce myself

Hi, Folks! Sorry I've been away for so long. Spouse hasn't been able to find a job, so we're moving up to Massachusetts. Alas, with that decision has come all that work that goes into getting a house ready for the market. Fortunately the last few months of craziness have paid off - house is sold and we close on June 8th. Just in time to escape the summer heat of the mid-Atlantic!

Meanwhile - and with respect to things that really matter - I think I'm down to a couple of little steps in order to get my 2001 VN750 back on the road. Been putting lots of miles on the Savage, but I miss my solid ride. When last you heard from me, I had rebuilt the top end, completed the ear shave, dropped the front end an inch and a half, and was putting on drag bars. All done. Just need to get the right length clutch cable and can't for the life of me remember what you told me, Denny6006. Help?

Also, and no surprise, I've got a TON of parts that I'd prefer to get rid of here than pay to move. Rehabbed tool box, new F&S Frontier slant bags, blah, blah, blah. Give a shout if you need something and I'll try to rescue it before it goes into the moving "pod."

Looking forward to spending the summer riding in the Northampton area. If anyone's up that way, give me a shout!

Cindy, welcome back. It was lonely without your bright responses. You certainly know your VN 750 and have quite a collection of parts. I have been planning some of my summer trips and was going to be down in Maryland for several days at some point and was hoping to catch up with you for that cup we previously talked about. I guess I will have to travel north for that now. Good luck and it is good to see you back.

and always remember, "Ride until you rot!"

but having to face the fact that this is a lifetime routine
going forward. Five operations done and it still continues.

I'm pretty sure I have both. Let me dig through the packing boxes and I'll send you a pm.
