hey back riding after about 15 years

Hey everyone, been looking at site for a couple of weeks now, have some great ideas and info. my name is chris and i live in albertville ,alabama.I am manager at sand mountain muffler in boaz alabam,i just recently purchased a 2000 vn 750 from my boss.he buys and sells a lot of harleys and big cruisers,he had this bike in little side shed on his bike shop, and offered it to me for $1200.00 it has 11,000 miles on it,and is bone stock!!ive got it in shop right now somebody had welded shifter on and seal on case was leaking oil.ive noticed parts are very hard to find for this bike, some mods in my bikes near future are highway bars and pegs, floor boards,900 seat and honda backrest or aftermarket seat if anyone knows where i can get a nice one, marbelling, and v+h exhaust, and new grips.I already have new mirrows, clutch and brake levers, and new shifter. any advice and partnumbers would be greatly appreciated. oh yeah ill some pics up in a week or so

Welcome to the group. 1st thing I would suggest is to check the splines and lube them.
