Did the carbs get there today or yesterday?

04-3,200 miles bought July 2011 with 928 miles. Loaded with acessories to many to list here, see my albums for more details! I also make a custom tank bib specific for the 750 if anyone is interested, ck my albums for some pics.

waffle house didnt burn my waffle but some dumb ass backed into the parking spot black betty was in.
no major damage just bent the rear fender and popped open the gas cap.
btw did you know premium gas will eat clear coat?
looks like i get new paint on his insurance sucks for him.
and if he dont wanna cough up i got his address and dl#
the bike rides alright the stator is good i'm guessing
needs a better headlight
why does my choke keep drifting back to half way?
throttle doesnt return to idle but i kinda like it i say its redneck cruise control
carbs work great
still need the gromits for the front mounting screws on the tank it rattles so bad i thought it was the chain tensioners
i adjusted my bars forward cause my arms are long
oh and i need new fork seals
what is the preasure supposed to be in the back shocks they were at about 20 psi i added a shot of air and they hit 100 real quick i mean just a squirt

I am dealing with this issue. I could be a number of things. Some of the basics are:

- Vacuum related issue, i.e. carbs not seated on the boots properly/fully, or some other vacuum leak.
- Cable adjustment, maybe loosen the throttle cables at the bars and see where it gets you
- Carb sync possibly

Sorry to hear about your ding! At least it happened when it was parked, not when you were riding!

im not so much worried about the throttle not returning to idle as mush as the choke lever drifting back to half choke i know it has to be killing my fuel milage i think a rubberband will be a good temporary fix
