Just bought a 2003 750

Hey all, i just bought a 03 750 and it may need a few things according to what the PO told me are the issues with the bike.

1) PO told me that the 3 yellow wires on the left side of the bike under the seat are getting hot. According to a few of the forums ive read it may be caused by R/R getting hot from being so close to the goats belly.

2) tried starting the bike up today and it will not idle on or off choke. not sure if the carbs need to be adjusted or completely cleaned out. the bikes filters and air box where off the bike when i bought it and i notice some fuel bubbling/ leaking from the top of the carbs on either side. any possiblities on where i need to start looking or anyone with a similar issue.

The 3 yellow wires are from the Stator, check the connectors for corosion, Alot of people have removed the connectors and solderd and shrink wrap them for a better connection.
Also good to seporate the wires and nto have them taped up tight.
Sea foam is a great cleaner if not very dirty. I use it all year about a cap full every 3rd tank fill up.
Welcom to the group.
