Newbie here and to riding

Hey everyone just bought my first bike on Oct. 12 on Ebay. It is a 1994 Vn750. I got it for 1200, had to travel to KY to get it so including gas to get there i have about 1400 in a bike that only had 5976 miles on it. The bike is practically new runs great and I love riding it. Now I am getting the bug to do some customizing to it to make it mine. While searching for information I came across this site. Thats my story and how I got here.

Welcome to the forum. Read the Vulcan Verses section of the forum and see the 10 things for new owners in OlHossCanada's signature. If you haven't already done so, would suggest the Motoecycle Safety Foundation basic rider course or its equivalent.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Welcome to the group. X2 on checking the Verses, Hoss's sig, and the MSC.

Look around at members bikes and from there you can get some ideas of what you want to do to yours to make it your own creation. The VN750 has limited aftermarket parts but with ingenuity and good fabricating skills you can mod parts from other bikes to fit. I have parts from Harley to Honda on my 2 750s. Or make them from scratch.

This is a good start

01' VN750
Jardine cross over exaust
Kyriakin grips and foot pegs
Modified seat and backrest
Luggage rack
Crash bar with Kyriakin pegs and extensions
Kumho 758 165/80-15 CT rear Dunlop 404 110/90-19 front
Coastered and air/fuel screws at 2.5 turns
Spline lube

93' VN750 getting TLC
Decals and mirrors
Coastered and air/fuel screws at 2.5 turns
Degoated with Harley mufflers
Duro 110-90-19 front 150-90-15 rear
Pick-up coils at .020
Spline lube
