interests are bikes bikes and more bikesan 89 vn 750 i got last year with the bottom end gone and i am just after putting a replacement engine in it,have a bit to go yet before its running right.

Did it put the balancer through the lower left case?

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

this is the story i got the bike for 0, 75k on the clock.fired it up and knock knock knock,did'nt even bother ripping it so got a replacement off ebay state side and shipped it home to ireland,could'nt get an engine in ireland or europe,i have it running again fingers crossed, need to do a good few jobs before its back to a 100%.

Welcome. Ireland? You're a long way from me. I'm close to the west coast of the U.S., though I am 99% Scottish. Before you go any further, do the spline lube thing, or you will also be replacing the final drive unit. Jerry
