A cheery wave from Essex

Hi, all.

Took onwership of my VN750 a couple of days ago so here seems the right place to be.

The Bike? It is a red one, according to the paperwork. I can only assume they mean it is a very very dark red. '95, 13kmiles.

So far I like it.

There are a couple of things that can be improved but a lot of that will be down to getting the balance just right, which costs nothing but time and fuel.

On the bright side my saddlebags don't fit yet. So that restricts my carrying capacity, which means I have to make 2 trips instead of one and because I knew I had a bike of some sort coming I have been saving them up.

Ajustable levers are high on the list and marked as sooner rather than later.

Me? I am an old fart, according to the paperwork. Make your own assumptions about which very goes where. '49, 100k's miles.

So far I like it.

Welcome friend! By "cheery" I assume you mean Essex, UK. No offense but there's actually one in Jersey. You got a great bike there bro, take care of it and yourself. The vulcan versus has tons of useful information, so does Hoss. If record serves you'll be hearing from him shortly. Stop back often and again, welcome!

Essex England, yes.

I have never visited but I think cheery is not the right way to describe the Jersey one

Mine is a Red one.

I was getting gitty, I thought he was from Essex, Maryland and that's just down the road from me. UK is a bit far to ride. Welcome to the madness!
