Michigan, Checking in.

Hi my name is Ryan and I am 20, I am new to the forums and all that. I am a newbie and taking the MSF class as soon as it warms up but I just bought myself a nice 1994 Vulcan 750 with 10,000 miles on it. It has sat for a few years and the engine runs but not well the carbs are all clogged up from sitting, need to take them off and clean them. The air filters are falling apart anyone have any suggestions as for a good type of replacement ones? I need to clean it up a bit and polish the chrome and it will look brand new. I need to pick up some gear too any suggestions on what I should get?

94' Vulcan 750

Welcome to the Madness... You have come to the right place to find answers to your questions. For Air Filters, most go with the K&N replacement filters found on eBay, or they do an "Ear Shave"... search the forum for Ear Shave and you will get lots of good results... I personally am running the K&N replacement filter.

Check out the Vulcan Verses, a lot of the stuff you are needing to do is covered there.

Welcome to the forum, Ryan. Sounds like you have things prioritized well. I think Emgo also makes a replacement filter, but they are not reuseable, like the K&Ns.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Welcome to the Vulcan Madness Ryan. Take a look at the link below. Pay particular attention to MF-AGM batteries, NGK-Iridium Spark plugs and the rear spline lube.

Happy Trails to you.

Northville is actually where I am from, my grandmother lives in Plymouth. So I know the area really well.
