Welcome to the forum. It's a great collection of information and people.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Welcome to the Vulcan madness greg. Congrats on the new-to-you ride. You are going to enjoy it. How long have you been riding and how many miles did you rack up on the Rebel? Take it easy with the throttle hand for the first few rides or the Lady Vulcan will bite you. The Rebel is a great bike to learn on, but respect the torquey Vulcan until you get used to all the extra power on tap. Check the link below and note well the rear spline lube, MF-AGM Battery and NGK Iridium plugs. Enjoy the ride.

Agreed, take her easy for the first little bit. The Vulcan 750's engine is a sport bike engine so there's literally no delay from twist to power. If you put it in, it'll be there. You got a great bike man, I'm sure you'll enjoy the hell out of it! Welcome to a spectacular forum, I'm sure you'll love it here too. Congrats on your new bike!

Half a can to a full tank if it really needs a good cleaning. Two to three ounces periodically for maintenance cleaning. If it only happened once, it may have been a tiny bit of crud making its way through the carb. I'd do three ounces initially, and if it persists, go with half a can.

You may notice some smoke in the exhaust with half a can. It's normal, so don't worry about it.
