Welcome to the Vulcan madness SS. You would have to rub in the fact you live in almost perpetual sunshine today, when we have ice fog covering half of Alberta, and visibility is about half a mile. Oh well, at least we don`t get hurricanes, where God tries to wash and blow you back into the ocean! <BG>

Are you a long time rider, or is the vn750 your first bike? If you have been lurking for a while, you have probably already seen the link in my sig line. If not, pay particular attention to the rear spline lube, MF-AGM batteries, and NGK Iridium spark plugs.

Enjoy the cruise through the forums and down your sunshiny highways and byways.

flitecontrol,

Glad we have some nice weather for your visit. Another front on the way. Lots of gusty winds in the Ocala area at this time. Hope it will blow thru before it reaches your location. I consider this a Top Shelf Forum. Hope you have a very pleasureable visit. Sorry you don't have your Vulcan with you.

Thanks OlHossCanada,

At least we all enjoy the madness. Some Foruns are not as populated as this one is. Aren't we the lucky ones.

No matter where we live, we all have to bare what Mother Nature has in store for us. Haved lived in NC, FL, TX, CA, and AR. Of all these states, I chose FL.

Been riding for over 35 years. Have owned a few motorcycles over the years. Have owned the VN750 about 3 years. Last year the Vulcan became a VN375. Lost compression in rear cylinder. Not have had the time to repair it yet. Purchased a used ZR-7s so I could ride with my wife on vacation.

I'll be sure to check out the link. Sorry to read about your medical problem. Hope you have a full recovery and get to enjoy riding again.

If you're Waiting on me, you're Late

wib714,
What wonderful technology. This thing they call the Internet. The weather has returned to normal for this time of the year. Glad the cold snap is over. Been wrenching for 50 years. The last 25 years with Cadillac. This engine is constructed just like the 4.6L NorthStar engine. With the double cam chains. Just got to fined the time to give it some TLC. Glad to be aboard.

Welcome Soul Searcher. I do hope that compression problem turns out to be something simple, but there is really nothing simple about a Vulcan 750. Jerry. aka JunkyardDog.

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.
