Did this backwards...

I know I did this backwards... but, none the less, I am new and wanted to introduce myself on here (even though I had a problem last week and already posted in another area).

I live in Thomasville, GA (just north of Tallahassee, FL) and just a few weeks back purchased a 1990 VN750 (that only had 7683 original miles on it at time of purchase). I am in love with this bike and plan on riding it for many years to come.

I happened upon this forum on accident in a google search, and am SO glad that I found it. Thus far it has been a tremendous help and advantage as I am not a mechanic but want to be able to do most of the work ever needed on my bike myself. So, I am really looking forward to all the help, advice, tips and communication I will find in this forum.

As a side note, would anyone happen to have an extra clymer for these bikes laying around that they don't need and would want to donate to a young, riding rabbi? Just thought I'd give that a shot.

Welcome to the group rabbi. I don`t have an extra Clymers manual, but here is a link to a free downloadable Kawi sevice manual with exploded diagrams, parts numbers and names for most model years and variations, such as emissions controls. The book is nice to have too, but this is a very good resource.
