Welcome to the forum from someone who actually sleeps at 4:30 in the morning! If you haven't already, check "The Versus". There's tons of really good info there. The folks here are great so if you have any questions, ask away. There's lots of people here who know an inordinately impressive amount about everything motorcycles. Your fellow night owl friend there indeed notwithstanding.

Congrats on your new bike! Stay safe out there...

Welcome to the Vulcan Madness STUMPY. Congrats on your decision to buy a vn700. Your enthusiasm for the Vulcan makes me think this is your first bike. <BG> Did you find the vn750.com forum before or after you purchased the mc? Lots of good folk here have contributed to the link below, so help yourself to the collective wisdom.

Olhoss is right, this is my first real street bike. I had a Kawasaki KLX 400SR (street leagal dirtbike) a few years ago, and that was what I was looking for when I found my vulcan. I traded a Polaris quad for it. I knew very little about these bikes when I got it this Sunday, I got along great with her on the very first ride even though the guy had the bars pushed all the way forward. I moved them back as soon as I got it home. I found this site last night and it was a blessing. I learned more about these bikes in a few hours from this site than anybody can get out of any manual. First thing thing I did this morning was "marble" her and adjust the mixture screws. I love simple mods that work. NO MORE POP,POP,POP!!!!! Thanks everybody for the warm welcome to the family.
