Welcome to the Vulcan Madness jc. Where are you from? Fill out the profile , and it will show up on every post. Does the bike fit into your first chilhood? Or is it a midlife crisis for a baby boomer like so many others of us here?
Ma Kawi`s "Fire and Steel" luggage rack is very nice and strong too. Go down to the bottom of the list of forums and there is a direct link to vn750 stuff currently listed on ebay. You will often find what you are looking for there.

Welcome indeed!!

Where are you in KY? We just had another newbie join from Wilmore. I'm in Frankfort and we have a few others here and there in KY.

Mom, I'm not wearing my helmet only for the purpose of taking this picture and
the background was digitally blurred to make it look like I'm going really fast.

Thanks for the welcome.

I live near Bowling Green. My wife says the bike fits into my first childhood since I still haven't grown up. I have wanted one for years and finally talked her into it...

How much is too much to spend on the luggage rack?

I was in that same boat. Wanted one for years and finally got one last year. After riding a little bit, I couldn't believe I went that long without having one.

We just had The Gathering at KY Lake this past weekend. You should try to make it next year. Great times with great people.

Like most accessories for the 750, watch eBay. I picked mine up earlier this year for about $50. Craigslist is also another good place to look.
