Smile Finally got a Vulcan

Hello all,
The VN750 was new in my last year of high school. Now I'm 41, and I finally got my 86 Vulcan! lol Thanks for all the excellent tech on this site. I have been lurking for awhile and made great use of it in readying my bike for the street. It was abused then ditched in the snow in Aspen a decade ago.
Only 12k miles and it was free.

Welcome to our little Vulcan family here. Is the little sweetheart road worthy yet? Or does she still need some more TLC?

Good for you, Scott!
So you are where in Colorado? I am in Wesminster, got my 1985 Vulcan last December. These are good bikes as long as you do the maintanence and keep it on the wheels!

Welcome to the best motorcycle site on the web, these people have already fixed all the things you will need (or want) to do to make that one your own.

"The Mistress".
1985 VN700A1

MODS:
New stator
My version of the Marbleing
New paint and trim
New oversized front tire
Degoated
Iridium Plugs
New grip and lever covers
New(er) Ignition switch

Waiting on:
A good ride

As always:
Wanting attention at all times.

Why should I act my age, I am an ADULT!!!!!!

I am between New Castle and Silt north of I 70. I have a bike lift and a bunch of equipment. (This is kind of a kinky departure from hot rod building) The plan here is to get the bike road safe in the next week or so, then hopefully contribute something useful to the forum.

I get very happy seeing that old beater on the lift, it makes no rational sense at all.

FWIW doing a bonded title isn't really that hard or slow and the DMV "babes" have been very helpful this time.
