First post!

I am considering purchasing a 1986 Vulcan 750 and have been gaining knowledge from your forums and database. You guys really know your stuff. I am a newbie to Vulcans and motorcycles in general. I currently own an 86 Kaw 454 LTD and have been playing around with it. Its a fun bike but i need something bigger so here i am looking at Vulcans.

Im sure ill have a ton of questions when i find the right bike so thanks in advance for any help.

Ride safe
Ian

Welcome Ian!

The VN750 is my first bike and I also found this site in advance of its purchase. This site is a gold mine of information and one of the reasons I proceeded with the VN750 purchase. In fact, I already had the first few mods picked out, thanks to the folks here, even before bringing it home (i.e., AGM battery, LED brake/turn bulbs, SilverStar headlight, etc.).

Welcome, Ian. Think you will like the VN750 if you decide to get one. Lots of knowledgeable folks here.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Welcome for the North side of Chicago, The 750 is a great bike, I had one for years, I have moved to a Nomad but I do miss the 750 at times.
