New Guy

Hey all, I cruised this site earlier while deciding whether or not to buy, and went out and got a '97 VN750- I love it! I am new to the world of Motorcycles, but I see there's alot of knowledge and help here. Looking forward to picking up some good data... Other than that, I'm an E-7 in the Army stationed down here at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Married with 3 kids, btw...

Welcome! This bike comes with about 25 co-mechanic/shop buddies. Can't beat that.

I'm in Omaha, not terribly far. If that ever comes in handy!

Welcome to the family. Think you'll enjoy the ride, and there's lots of help here.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Welcome to the madness Kjuggs. Forgive my ignorance, but I live north of the 49th and do not know what an E-7 is. I`m guessing E stands for engineer, maybe?
Enjoy the ride, but respect the 750, she will dump you if you grab a big handful of throttle before you are ready for it.
See TEN THINGS below. Lots of experienced riders contributed to it.

Amen! I would've used my rank, but it's easier for of those us across the services to recognize pay grade (sadly)...lol I've been in the Army for nearly 15 years, but I still couldn't tell you what an E-7 in the Navy's actual rank is!
