Welcome from me too, Mak. Perhaps we can ride toward each other one day and meet in the middle. I'm from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. That would make Norfolk, Virginia an even destination!

Seriously though, while folks here may be thousands of miles away, they can be there for you in seconds when you need them. Awesome, huh?

Welcome to the Vulcan madness from sunny southern Alberta, Mak. It`s good to have a few more Canucks here on the forum. The only problem is you are farther away from me than most of the Yanks that predominate on the forum. I`ve already seen your post on the flooding cylinders and Cindys post to pull and clean the carbs. I just got finished looking through her set of 50 or 60 pics of cleaning daddydaves carbs, and they are great. I suggest taking a good look at them, before starting on yours. Good luck and keep the shiny side up when you get that puppy on the road.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, I'm beginning to like this place already. I'll have to post some pics of the bike when she's not acting up, no beauty shots til she starts playin nice. Hmmm rubyrick, meet in the middle eh? I won't say no, but this bikes gotta prove she's worthy first. I say you give me a head start and we meet at Deals Gap, lol, always wanted to check that out.

Deals Gap, eh? Looks VERY interesting. Now I want to go! Love the Tennessee and North Carolina area. Been to Cherokee National Forest two summers ago for some horseback riding and rafting and had a great time. Would love to take the bike up that way to the Deals Gap motorcycle resort.
