Welcome to the vn750 forum, stumped. Sorry to hear you have been searching so long for parts. I see that you double posted this question over on the Engine/Exhaust forum.
Jthill has posted an answer over there, so I propose that we welcome stumped on this thread, and post any answers to his search for parts over on the engine forum.
This is just to keep all answer posts in one place. thanks

Gordon

The double post is not really a problem, stumped. I was brand new to forums about 10 months ago, and made about all the blunders possible. So feel welcome to cruise around through the different tech forums, and if you start a thread with a question, just be conscious of which forum it belongs in, as you were with the second (doubled) thread.

See TEN THINGS link below, and the Vulcan Verses have a lot of info, and are an excellent place to start reading. A lot of the old links no longer work, but still a good place to start.

You will run into some odd terms, like marbleing and coastering, which are two different ways to stop, or at least lessen backfiring during deceleration. The goats belly is the exhaust "power chamber", or catalytic converter, which joins the right and left pipes in the middle of the bike under the battery box.

The Goats Belly is also a forum for off topic or non mototcycle related threads. General Discussion is for any mc topics that don`t neatly fit into any of the more specific tech forums.

I`m going to check your other post, and see if anyone has helped you to become un-stumped, with regards to your parts needs. Enjoy the cruise.
