Talking Hello from Aachen, Germany

Hello from Aachen, Germany

I've bought a '93 VN 750 recently and here comes my first question. Is that color original? The seller said yes but I can't find another one on google..

cheers, DZL

Welcome to the machine!

Not sure on your color, since I'm red/green deficient . The neck and radiator covers are painted, so maybe it's all repainted, but the data says:

Yeah. pretty sure that it's professionally repainted.

Come to think of it ... If the list is correct, only one year came with a single color on the tank - "A 5 1989 Ebony". So all other years should be two-tone.

Looks like yours is a single color.

No, the color is not original. I bought a brand new '93. It had a two tone tank. The color was sort of a blue green, but not exactly like that. It also had chrome sidecovers.

I believe this is the stock 1993 color. https://cdn.nettimoto.com/live/21464...f1d-medium.jpg

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.

It cannot be correct. My 85 and my 86 were solid black with that retarded looking sticker.
