Welcome to the machine!

'05 with a black and metallic silver tank, I put the same tank on my '03 and swapped to chrome side covers. I like it.

Welcome. I just turned 61 a few days ago. I have been riding Vulcan 750s since 1993, two new ones (a 1993 and a 2002) wore both out, and recently bought and refurbished a low mileage 1997. I still have the 2002, with a blown engine, as a parts bike. Make sure to check your cam chain tensioners (listen for a rattling sound from the engine) and check/lube your final drive splines.

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.

Hi Mike, I'm in Lebanon so probably not too far from you. Took you long enough to post after joining, lol. Welcome to the group.
